I have curly hair and I straighten it. Any ideas of how I can keep it straight overnight/daytime?

I have VERY thick and curly hair. Its nice once in a while but when I go to straighten it SOMETIMES it gets frizzy and other times its perfect. My question is though, does anyone have any tips on how I can keep my hair straight at night and throughout the daytime? I use V05 MIRACLE! spray on my hair before I straighten it but thats basically it. Thanks so much!

Put hairspray on it before and after you straighter in and then run a brush through it. It makes hair easier to straighter and it keeps it from getting as frizzy.

Try some of Paul Mitchell's super skinny, a dab will do, or Redken's smooth down product line. It is worth spending the extra money, it goes further and makes your hair look better. Use a mousse, let air dry and then straighten, it will help to keep it straight, you can blow dry with a diffuser but it will be more difficult to tame the frizzies.

Why don't you try a mouse or gel for curly hair? Loreal Paris Studio-line springing curls mouse is good. I think curly hair is cooler than wavy hair, well I hoped this helped!

i have pretty thick, wavy hair and i have to pull back most of my hair and straighten one part and then let down some more hair and straighten it, and then keep doing that. allso to make it stay stright i sometimes have to strighten it at night and then in the morning to.

when you buy the sprays or bottles, you should look on the bottle if it says something like, "seriously straight" or something like that. sunsilk is higly recommended.

i just add CHI keratin mist at lunch and it looks like i just did my hair! just do that at lunch, before bad and in the morning!

I have heard of chemically straightening your hair and the when its starts growing out to use a ceramic hot iron on the roots. This procedure has been used successfully as far as I know and although expensive well worth all the bother at the end of the day.

straight perm! they work well. otherwise straighting balm is about the best you get! o yeah, don't use frezz ezz or what ever it is get biosilk, it will give you what you want!
