My hair went from straight 2 curly, now it's straight again. Is this common? Can it go curly aga

I was born with fine, straight hair. About age 30, it began to get wavy and within a couple of years was totally curly all over. Now I am 45 and within a couple of months it went back to being straight. Has this happened to you or anybody you know? I loved having curly hair and wish it were curly and don't want to get a perm.

its commom for the hair to change its texture during mensuration beginning, menopause, pregnancy and other situations where hormonal changes come in.There is no guarantee that it will go back to curly. So if u really want to get it.I suggest that u get a perm of good quality

Well..its perfectly fine...When ur a kid...every1 has straight curly hair but the pattern of the hair is strictly genetic...U can't help it ..As long as the hair doesn't bother you why simply bother ...

I don't know about changing back and forth. But my son had straight, silky blonde hair until he reached puberty. Then it turned dark brown and very curly. You'd never believe he had been blonde.

when i was growing up i always had straight hair, now im in my early 20`s and its pretty wavey/curly, i doubt that it would ever change to straight again though

It is very common with different hair lengths. For example, when your hair is short it might be straight, but the longer it gets the more curly it may get (or vice versa). But age shouldn't have much to do with it - sunlight can cause a change in color, and your diet and shampoo and stuff you put in your hair can also make a difference. So do some research on the subject, I think you should be able to get natural curly hair again.

(But this is just from what I remember from biology class a couple years ago)
