Less layers if you have any would be a good starter- layered hair tends to be more wavy.

If you would want to go curly sometimes, then chemical straightening's out of the question. But "Sleek and Straight" shampoos and conditioners such as the ones by Garnier should help.

Also invest in a good pair of straighteners. (Be sure to use lots of heat protection spray). Wet-to-dry staighteners are often most effective.

A good serum such as Andrew Collinge- "simply no frizz design and shine gloss" helps keep haor sleek.

Longer hairstyles put more weight on the hair, creating instantly less wavy/curly appearance.

Also leaving a LITTLE conditioner in after washing your hair can help in this way, as well as protecting the overall health of your hair.

Hope this helps.
