kk. i have thick really curly like tight ringlet curls NOT wavy hair. im going into high school august 21 and i was wanting to get side bangs like ashley tisdale or something. if i get side bang and straighten it everyday and just leave my naturally curly hair down would it look ugly or weird. plz help i dont want to embarass myself. so basically WOULD STRAIGHT SIDE BANGS LOOK PRETTY WITH NATURALLY TIGHT RINGLET CURLY HAIR? its NOT wavy ok.

Well, I envy your ringlets. If you really want sidebangs without it looking unnatural you need a smoothing creme. Biolage smoothing creme milk works really well. When you go to get it done (if you decide to) ask your hairdresser what she thinks would work best with your hair texture. If it doesn't end up looking like you thought it would, at least you tried and don't have to wonder anymore.

My hair is natrually straight and I have side bands. When I curl my hair I leave my fringe straight because it looks weird when its curly too. My friend does it like that too (but shes black). I reckon it looks better like that.

I do this sometimes but my hair is only somewhat wavy. I don't think it would look right with full on curls though. But I would have to see it first.. Do you really want to straighten them everyday though?

Yes it does. My friend has thick curly hair as well and I talked her into getting side bangs. She straightens it all the time and it looks beautiful.

YES IT LOOKS GREAT! I have thick curly hair and I needed a change and I got side bangs. Sometimes, I staighten the bangs and it looks really great. But i like to leave the bangs curly and I usually pull them back with a sparkly bobby pin. It looks really awesome and people tell me all the time that it lookk great

Curls do rock...but not when you have this one straight piece in the front...NO it won't look "cute" it will look "funny"...

personally i dont like the straight side bang look with curly hair, i think it contrasts too much. i think you shuld either straighten it or leave it curly. OR you can straighten everyday andstraighten the side bangs, i see a lot of girls do this.
