I want curly hair again, how do I get it?

I'm of mixed heritage and 7 years ago I had my hair chemically straightened (relaxed). Now i'm not so fond of it, I think the curls suited my face more. Without cuttting it all off and starting all over again (which would look awful!) how can I have curly hair? I've seen that some hairdressers do curly perms, could I have one? I'm due for a retouch soon. My hair is strong and healthy and grows quickly. Someone please help me!!!!!

have a perm. everyone had em in the eighties early ninetys. and with that fashion coming back, hairdressers'll probably be doing more of em again.

Maybe you should try talking to your stylist about it. I don't know very much about getting a perm after your hair has been straitened, but the hairdresser should.....I think a perm would probably be your best option, especially if your hair is healthy. Good luck!

your first option would be to get a perm, your second option would be to mousse it everyday and oneday without anything your hair will just be soft curls, your last option that i could suggest is to plait your hair frequently (mousse or not) and keep in for long periods of time! hope it helps!
