i have EXTREMELY thick, black, curly hair.

what can i do with it?

the whole school year its either been curly or straight.. up or down.

is there anything i can do to spazz it up?

straighten it and tease it ... pin it up in the back to give it even more lift and top it off with a couple hairclips with bows one them... its beautiful

Natural curls are beautiful. I would emphasise them even more by putting in a defining product. keep them!

Maybe you could put some colors in there, put like red or pink or blonde, in weird places.

Not like streaks but underneath or on the sides.

I have had weird hair forever, and everyone is always telling me how cool it looks. :D

Make sure to NOT get a bunch of layers... it will be harder to take care of, and easier to get the frizzies..

Have you even pulled the top and sides up and kinda gave it a "fo hawk" look with the volume at the crown.. that's pretty cute!

i cutt it shorter and layered it and it looked great.

now it's grown out again. and i don't wanna cut it.

try pumpadores.

Try a curl relaxer from Redken. It works fairly well for some types of curly hair. It will slightly relax your curls and make them less fuzzy. Or, instead of straightening it completely, try making the curls bigger with a curling iron. Just pull your hair completely taught, and then roll your hair around the barrel in the direction of your natural curls.Use a 2 or 3 inch barrel curling iron.You could also try an "Inside out braid." It works well for thick hair. (If your hair is long enough.)
