Any help for untamable curly hair?

my hair is naturally curly and about shoulder length, i really hate that not only is it curly but its also FRIZZY. Ive tried almost every hair product that helps control frizz out there but they only seem to help when my hair is wet. as soon asit dries it gets all poofy and all that was left of my curls are frizzy locks. I've thought about cutting it but im afraid that will make it worse. HELP ME!!!!!!

My hair is the same as yours in length and issue. I wear a bandana now. I guess soon I will go for a buzz.

Don't feel alone - been there, done it. Find yourself a very dependable, very good stylist, that you trust and ask for a relaxer. It is effectively a perm that straightens. If you have had coloring, make sure you tell them so they don't fry your hair.

This will help with the unmanageable curls and frizz. It probably won't get rid of all the curls, but it will definately help.

The process will take about 3 to 4 hours, so make sure you have that in your schedule.

Try leave in conditioner and blow dry them.

i have really long curly hair(down to my butt) i know how you feel! but recently i found a pruduct called "organix" it works really well, if you use the citrus mango and the cocoa butter it should help alot with frizz and it also helps make your curls look great! i get it at harmens discount for about 6.99$

Do NOT cut it!! Mine is past my shoulders and very curly. The longer you let it grow the better it is. The weight of your hair helps w/ the curls. When I get out of the shower I dab it w/ a towel, don't dry it completely Then hurry and add leave-in conditioner. I use Fructis. Ive tried so many. You can use any kind but I like to use anything that doesn't make my hair feel hard. Apply a lot of it on. Start at the ends and work up. I have to put a lot on the hair around the crown of my head. It's usually x-tra frizzy there. Just keep applying it until it's all coated. Keep adding until it's almost dry. I usually wait a little while and add more. Use your fingers and scrunch your curls so there more defined.------If my hair is dry I like to get a med sized barrel curling iron and go over my curls to make them loser. You don't have to do your whole head. I usually do the ones around the side of my face and a few in the back.

I have the exact same problem as you. I use Herbal Essense shampo and conditioner, its the one with pearls in it. Works great. The trick is to not wash out the conditioner, leave it in, it helps with the frizz and flyaways. Also, when you get out of the shower use John Freda's serum, it works amazing. Work it through your hair while it soaking wet. You'll see that it will keep its shinny, and frizz free through-out the day. When your hair dries, you have to put gel and hairspray; again use Herbal Essense. DO NOT CUT YOUR HAIR, it will make it look like an affro, and will cause it to be worse. Trust me I tried it. If you have any more questions email me. I know how you feel, it sucks having this kind of hair!!! :(
