Why is my hair getting less curly?

I have always loved my curly hair, but all of a sudden it has gotten straighter. The only connection I can find is that I used to dye my hair and it would be dry, but very curly. Now my hair is really healthy but it lost the curl. Does anyone know how I can get it back without drying it out again or getting a perm? Or does anyone know why this would be?

im not sure ...but i dye my hair allot...the more i process my hair the more curls i get...and i nuturally have very straight hair.....(by process i mean ...the more i get my hair damaged and dry.....dying ...blowdrying...sttraightening)

I read somewhere that about every 7 yrs or so your hair will change a little. Look at other things in your life and see if hormones or percriptions have changed your body chemestry. Also look into what you are actually using as a shampoo, conditioner and styling products. Some of my friends who have had kids no longer have curly hair.

You should stop coloring your hair. And if and whenever you do, replace the dye with rinse because dye can really damage your hair, especially after continuously using it.

hmmm hormones can change the texture of your hair.. are you by any chance pregnant? I've heard of alot of people having different textured hair after being pregnant... if you're not pregnant then are you on some birth control pills? you might want to consider changing the pills you're on... If your not pregnant and you're not taking the pill then i have no idea why you all of a sudden have straighter hair. I hope you find the answer you're looking for and good luck.
