Curly hair to wavy?

I have curly hair.. I straighten it a lot because the curls are too hard to manage and never stay nice for the duration of the day.. I dont liek straightening it too much because of the heat damage.. how can I get waves like this?

straighten it and then curl it with a curling iron

and of course lauren conrad has a porffesional hair and make up artist so it's porbably going to be hard to get it like that even for anybody

I love your hair it is so cute! :) Try blow drying it with a round brush. If I were you I would talk to a hair stylist, they would help. Does your bangs look okay with curly hair? ( I want bangs like yours and I have curly hair. People say that they look bad but they look good on you.
